Riders4Riders for Alessia Polita
Delivered to Alessia Polita Β the prize of 10.000β¬Β that EICMA Motolive donated to Riders4Riders non-profit organization on 10 November, in occasion of “EICMA for Riders4Riders”.
During Ride for Life 2013 it took place the symbolic “passing” of the check from the hands of James Casartelli (EICMA) to those of Roberta Contrastini (Riders4Riders non-profit organization), who, in turn, handed the sum to Alessia Polita, pilot victim of a serious accident in the race ofΒ Misano in June, this year.
Even to Alessia, unfortunately, an injury to the spinal cord paralyzed lower limbs, and her condition, like the onesΒ of many otherΒ friends and not only, compels us an increasing commitment to the search for the cure for this disease.
Alessia herself, while seriously engaged in a long and arduous rehabilitation program, has assisted in organizing Riders4Riders Ride for Life 2013 to support research, with the conviction that only this can give a definitive solution to the problem.
Friendship and cooperation with a girl so determined will be really valuable.
